June 31, 2009 · The National Association of Hispanic Nurses™ (NAHN™) held their 34th annual conference in San Antonio from July 21 through 24, 2009. Dr. Geraldine Bednash, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing in Washington D.C. gave the luncheon keynote address on July 24, 2009. The title of her presentation is “Creating a Workforce for Healthy Communities”. Introducing Dr. Bednash is Jose Alejandro, President of the Dallas chapter of NAHN™.

The title of their presentation is “A Call to Arms – Hispanic Nurses Unite: Enhancing Our Understanding as Cultural Brokers, Colleagues and Political Partners.” Opening the program is Jose Alejandro, President of the Dallas chapter of NAHN™.
