NAHN Partners with the CDC

NAHN has partnered with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) by providing Hispanic communities with the most current information to fight both seasonal influenza and H1N1 influenza (Swine Flu) viruses.  The CDC estimates in the US there are approximately 36,000 deaths and 200,000 hospitalizations are from flu related complications each year.   Further, about 20,000 of those hospitalized are children younger than 5 years.
